A client from Anhui Province recently brought mixed materials to Sure Origin Group for testing our High Voltage Electrostatic Separator. His materials consisted of a complex mixture of PVC, PP, PET plastics, and copper wires. The goal was to separate the metals from the plastics efficiently.
Before the client’s visit, our technical department carefully studied his samples and noted potential challenges. The copper wires were large and tangled, not fine particles or granules, and the plastic types were too diverse. Based on this, our engineers informed the customer that achieving a perfectly clean separation might not be possible under such conditions. However, the client insisted on testing to understand the real performance and potential improvements.
We conducted a 200 kg trial run on the high voltage electrostatic separator. The machine successfully separated part of the copper and plastic, demonstrating partial effectiveness. However, due to the nature of the material — thick wires intertwined with multiple types of plastic — some portions could not be completely separated.
Despite the limitations, the client was very satisfied with the professional testing process and our technical explanations. He appreciated the honesty and expertise of Sure Origin Group’s team and expressed that the experience provided valuable insights for optimizing his future recycling process. The client is now considering adjusting his material preparation methods before the next testing phase.
